Since 1960s research of neurological functions in humans and intraoperative monitoring, since 1970s implementation of micro-neurosurgery and tension-free suture of nerves in Czechoslovakia, since 1990s implementation of skull base surgery as whole. Brainstem cavernoma operations. Peripheral and central nerve rekonstructions, with a special focus on facial nerve using all techniques. Radical acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma) surgery with minimal morbidity (since 1980s more than 1.000 operations)
