Organization of Distance Otorhinolaryngology Examinations

The terms of examination are published in SIS in a standard way. The students apply for a given term till 12:00 the previous day.

The students will be divided to particular examiners into time slots of 20 minutes for every exam. (e.g. 9:00, 9:20, …).

Application Skype will be used for examination. The students will receive by e-mail the information regarding the identity of his or her examiner and the time of the exam not later than 30 min. before the exam.

The student calls on Skype the examiner at the given time. At the beginning of the relation the student produces an ID with a clearly apparent picture (ISIC card, Index). The student draws his triplet of questions by communicating a number of his choice (from 1 to 10). The examiner counts this number from a random place in the set of questions on paper cards. The questions (study spheres) are published on https://orl.lf1.cuni.cz/en/examination-questions-7991

The student answers without a possibility for preparation, he can take notes on a paper. The absence of preparation is taken into consideration in classification. Otherwise the examination is similar to the one in attendance, the examiner can ask supplementary questions across the specialty. An examination report is kept (as up to date), every single question is separately classified, summary classification is then noted into SIS. No record is made in Index, this will be solved afterwards.

No audio or video recording without explicit consent of both participants is allowed.
